Futures Planning

There are many resources for futures planning.  On this page, Youth LEAD has organized links to websites as well as sample documents and worksheets.  These resources are intended to help individuals organize their hopes and dreams for the future in to a plan. Living on Your Own
  • Youthhood.org’s Apartment. http://www.youthhood.org/apartment/index.asp. This page has links to information about living on your own, including managing your finances, dealing with transportation, and lots of other topics.

Planning for College
  • Going to College from Virginia Commonwealth University. http://www.going-to-college.org/. This is a great new website for people with disabilities who are planning to go to college. There are video clips explaining the process for going to college and lots more information.
